How crazy cool would it be to be Vicky B???

I was looking back through the Emporio Armani campaign from the summer, and started wondering what it must be like, to be Victoria Beckham.

If I were Posh, I too would spend my days leaning against walls in sleek undies, with this kind of killer hair and makeup.

So fierce and so fabulous!!!

Is she just hot or what???

I’m thinking I might start doing this every morning too…

Posh not only has the wardrobe to die for, neverending clothes and shoes and bags, constant travels, the luxe life, but she also gets to completely stretch the boundaries of extreme fabulous with this dude, David Beckham.

I wonder if their Sunday mornings look like this?

I’m thinking that rope wouldn’t be too comfy to lounge around on…

Everyone I know who knows Victoria B says that shes hilarious and fun and awesome and cool.

And when she feels crappy and tired or if she’s having a bad day, she still goes home to this:

The David.

Life can’t be too bad for Vicky B, always Posh Spice to me.

Save The Boobies!!!

Its October now, Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Several cool things have come across my desk this week with regard to raising money for the magnificent mammary, and the research needed to protect it.

Here are a couple that I want to pass on:

Firstly, the very fabulous Halftime Designs have come up with a super cool “Pinktini” design that is available in several different styles of shirts, plus bags, pooch -wear, coasters, water bottles – all kinds of cool stuff.

Aren’t they brilliant? Halftime Designs also do chic and unique designer T’s etc for the girl who loves football, but doesn’t want to wear her boyfriend’s over-sized jersey to a game. (or any other place either for that matter!)

NAPA Autoparts are also in boobie protection mode, having partnered up with Susan G Komen For The Cure to raise $250 000, with a unique initiative highlighting the importance of preventative maintenance for both your breasts and your car! How cool is that?

I loved this line in the press release: “Our service technicians preach the importance of regular preventive maintenance for your vehicle and the same principle applies for the attention your body needs,”. Quite genius! Preventative maintenance for the boobies – I’m all for it!

If you spend $25 in a NAPA Auto Parts store, or at a NAPA Auto Care Center you will get a Susan G Komen mug.

Even more genius, on October 17th in Charlotte NC, NASCAR driver Michael Waltrip will be driving his NAPA sponsored Toyota Camry with a new pink paint scheme, and apparently will be wearing pink too, to help create awareness for the cause. I would love to be there to see it! (Funnily enough I’ve never been to a NASCAR race, but it is on my to do list)

I have however been to several NHRA races. On October 11th in Richmond Va NHRA Funny Car driver Ron Capps will also be sporting a pink paint scheme on his NAPA car.

Quite frankly, if I ever need to buy a cold start valve temperature switch, I’ll head straight to the nearest NAPA store….

Hellooooo Halle!!!

Can I even tell you how fabulous it is to wake up and find you have something in common with the absolutely spectacular Ms Halle Berry???

She is arguably one of the most divine creatures to ever prowl the surface of the planet, and she has all that talent, the darling baby and the hot man to make the perfect picture complete!

Given the choice I would love to wake up and find that miraculously overnight I had aquired legs like hers, but unfortunately, no matter how many times I check, my own are still attached to my torso. Ho hum…

So anyway, I was all kinds of excited to see this picture of Halle and the gorgeousness that is her beautiful baby Nahla. Because if you look at her neckline, it would appear that she is wearing the Circle Of Peace pendant necklace from d lynan designs. The same one that I am wearing this very minute, and tend to wear every single day!

See, this is the necklace. Its a killer cool peace sign, with a guitar neck as the center bar.
I love it!
Its quite heavy sterling silver – not plated. It hangs just below the collar bone, I think the chain is somewhere around 20 inches. The detail on every aspect of the piece is just delicious, from the inventive clasp, to the chain, to the actual pendant itself itself. Even the reverse side of the pendant has a fabulous design!

The d lynan designs Artistic Soul collection is very edgy, rock n roll cool. It reminds me of Chrome Hearts, (which I always associate with the coolest musicians I’ve ever worked with, and ever known).
I’m sure rockers are grabbing these right now, as well as the Hollywood crowd, plenty of whom already have them.
So when you see one of these around the neck of some celebrity in InStyle magazine, or up on the big screen at a sold out concert, don’t go forgetting just who it was who told you about them first!

…and no, that’s not me. If I had legs like that I wouldn’t be writing this blog, I’d be off standing somewhere, looking all leg-u-licious, so that people could look at them…

As a side note I have to say I was really taken with the packaging too. Very innovative and exciting! I love well thought out presentation of a really fabulous product.
