This fall makeup gets exciting!
Soft, boring, pumpkin spice latte themes are put to the side, and fierce, bold beauty takes over.
Fall 2017 makeup trends are about girl power. These are makeup trends that show strength. Fall 2017 beauty defies convention, commands attention, and says “I’m here. Count me.”
This look is from my Fall 2017 Luca Magazine Beauty Story.

This look is from our new fall issue. A jewel toned, metallic smoky eye is huge for fall. To get this look keep the skin creamy and smooth, create a lip that is soft, and go all out on a deconstructed smoky eye. This look is not about perfection, its about a gritty kind of glam.
Finish your eye with a jewel toned metallic, placed above and below the iris. Using the law of complimentary opposites, choose a shade that sits directly opposite your eye color on the color wheel.
Not sure what that means? No problem! This post about How To Choose Your Perfect Eye Shadow Color will break it all down and make it easy for you!

To create this look I used Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream to nourish the skin and make it just gorgeous and glowing. I followed that with Marc Jacobs Beauty Undercover Perfecting Coconut Primer and Marc Jacobs Beauty Glow Stick Glistening Illuminator. Makeup For Ever Ultra HD Foundation evened out the skin tone, and their cream blush in Shade 225 gave the cheek a soft, subtle lift.
From MAC I used a smudgy black kohl liner all around the eye, then buffed it out with a soft brush. With a good inky base laid down I layered on black eye shadow, buffing out the edges, but letting them stay imperfect. I used a high intensity pigment mix of Copper and Basic Red. I finished the look with multiple coats of Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara and Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips in Kidman’s Kiss.
